Prior to opening the agency in 1985, President Alan Beim spent 15 years working for Fortune 500 companies like ABC and Metromedia. He held positions at these companies such as Account Executive, Sales Manager and Promotion Director in both radio and newspaper. Working in these positions gave Mr. Beim the knowledge of the industry that he needed to pursue a firm of his own.
Our agency has many great success stories, one being the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association. The Goodguys car shows started out small. We helped them advertise and promote a few automotive races in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1985. Since then, we have done almost all of their advertising and promotions for the past 25 years. During that time, Goodguys have grown to become an extremely successful company, putting on events in over 20 markets, publishing a national magazine, and grossing millions of dollars in profits. Their membership has surpassed that of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).
Another of our satisfied clients is American Shows Inc. We started doing business with this company by advertising a small consumer home show in Flagstaff, Arizona when the company was formed in 1992. It has grown to become a major producer of home shows in markets across the United States. Promoting this and other consumer shows has put us in the position of having an instant report card of advertising results and return on investment called "attendance".
