"We are driven to have a passion for excellence to ensure our clients' success" this is the mission statement we wrote 25 years ago and it has stood the test of time. We keep in mind whenever we work on Television Advertising, Radio Campaigns, Newspaper Ads or Online Advertising. We have all heard adages like 'the client is ALWAYS right' and so forth. We have a very hard work ethic and all of our current clients have grown to love us. These clients, impressed with our commitment, have been with us for over 20 years. As far as the client always being right and our hard work ethic to always ensure our client's success, it seems timely to state where our above mission statement comes from as far as my own personal work ethics are concerned.
My father passed away when I was four years old and unfortunately for me, there are few memories I have of him. I was lucky enough to know he loved me a lot and he was a well-liked man. I was also lucky to have heard a lot of stories about him and what he was like.
One story that I have heard over and over from both sides of my family has shaped my own personal work ethic and my instilled devotion to the success of anyone who invests their money with us is as follows: During World War II, my father hit the beach with a briefcase. He was a lawyer in the army. During this time he got the job of defending three solders that brutally killed a Japanese woman and even confessed to the killing. Even though he knew they were both guilty, hated the crime they did and was a person who sided with victims of crimes, my father worked very hard and was able to get them both acquitted. He did that because he had a job to do. One that he had sworn to do as best as he could and he needed to honor that commitment.
After the trial the prosecuting attorney asked my father if he felt guilty for helping two murderers go free. 'No' he said, he was proud, for when he went in the law core of the Army and when he passed the bar, he took an oath to do the best job he could. It was obvious, unlike OJ's defense team, my father did not do it for the money, for he just got his regular army pay which would not go up or down based on his performance.
My dad did it for one reason; he was driven to have a passion for excellence to ensure his clients' life. He did go on to tell the prosecuting attorney that he should feel guilty for not doing his job and my dad explained what he had hoped the army prosecutor would do while trying the case. We offer than same hard work ethic to any client we contract with. We will do the very best job we can do for them with devotion. . .
